The Burrel Redevelopment Prospect was acquired in November 2011 as part of a transaction with a private company. The assets acquired include one producing well (approximately 70 bopd), one side wall deviated well, and existing 2D seismic coverage. The property also carries with it a 3D seismic work commitment.

Identified formations at Burrel include Zilch and Vaqueros sands and Monterey and Kreyenhagen shale oil targets. Analog fields include Helm (46 mmboe), Raisin City (47 mmboe) and Riverdale (27 mmboe).
